CRITIQUE of Digital Story below:
- A quick demonstration resume video that uses clip art; DO NOT USE CLIP ART. It is not professional looking. Missing thank you and references at the end.
- Ends with an example of being on screen. I personally do not like to watch myself on video; my eyes do "expressive" things I don't like and it is not as natural for me as it is for some people, etc. The reason I want you to try this is to see what you look like on screen and it is nice for a prospective employer to see you. But if you are totally uncomfortable on screen, you may use a "looking at your audience" close up photo of yourself as you narrate that slide.
- TIP: Record a draft of yourself on screen that you delete after watching it. Consider changes you want to make with your expressions and mannerisms.
- TIP: DRESS APPROPRIATELY. It does not have to be professional dress, but appropriate for what you are doing, and what you would want a prospective employer to view.
